Welcome

Thomas Clarkson Community College is the only Local Authority Secondary School in Wisbech. We also cater for some 1,400 students from the town and surrounding villages.

We are a fully comprehensive 11-16 foundation school, and from September 2010 will take on responsibility for Post 16 in our own right.  We will continue to work closely with the local Further Education College (COWA) in this respect.

Our aims are to

• Raise the aspirations of children, young people and parents
• Improve educational and social outcomes of all students
• Liaise closely with parents and the local community
• Ensure effective and transparent accountability for school performance

I am delighted to have been appointed as the Principal of Thomas Clarkson Community College. I consider it to be both a privilege and a great responsibility.

I believe passionately in the development of a strong team, dedicated to improving the life chances of the young people in Wisbech, and look forward to working closely with our community in order to do this.
