Absence Reporting Procedure

Please follow the procedure below if your child is going to be absent from school for any reason:

- Please ring the absence line (01945 585237 then press 1) on the first day of any absence and leave a message, or click here and report it online.

- If we have not received a call from you, our system will send a text message asking why your child is absent, you need to ring the absence line in response to this text.

- If your child is still unwell we need a call the next day too (this also applies if your child is sent home from school and is still unwell the next day).

- Follow with a note in the planner on their return to school.

There is no right or entitlement to take a family holiday during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances. Also below you can find the application form for family holidays in term time, which will need completing and returning to the Attendance Officer.
